Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the PlainAuto website and services provided by PlainAuto LLC, a California limited liability company ("PlainAuto," "we," "us").
Services
PlainAuto builds, configures, and monitors communication automations (such as lead response, missed-call notifications, reminders, review requests, and customer re-engagement) for client businesses. Specific deliverables are described at purchase or in a written order.
Billing & term
- Services are billed monthly in advance at the then-current rate, plus any stated one-time setup fee.
- Subscriptions are month-to-month. Cancel anytime effective at the end of the current billing period. No long-term contracts, no early-termination fees.
- Founding/pilot pricing is honored for as long as the original subscription remains continuously active.
Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate business information and timely access to accounts reasonably required to deliver the service.
- Use messaging features only with recipients who have given any legally required consent. Clients are responsible for the lawfulness of contact lists they supply.
- Review and approve message templates where the service includes an approval step.
Messaging compliance
Automations that send SMS operate on a consent-first basis. We do not send cold or unsolicited text messages, and we configure client systems to honor STOP/HELP keywords. See our Privacy Policy for the SMS program disclosure.
No guarantee of results
We report performance honestly and work to improve it, but we do not guarantee specific business outcomes (such as revenue, bookings, response rates, or review counts). Results depend on factors outside our control, including your market, pricing, and follow-through.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlainAuto's total liability arising out of the services is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Intellectual property
We retain ownership of our methods, templates, and tooling. You retain ownership of your business data, contact lists, and content. On cancellation, we will return or delete your business data on request.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
